About the Role
Reliatus Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Therapist to join our team. The BCBA Therapist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and a passion for improving the lives of those they serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify behavior issues and their underlying causes.
Utilize assessment tools and techniques to evaluate clients’ strengths, needs, and areas for improvement.
Treatment Planning:
Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and client goals.
Set measurable and achievable objectives to guide treatment and track progress.
Implementation and Monitoring:
Oversee the implementation of behavior intervention plans by providing guidance and support to direct care staff and parents.
Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to intervention strategies as needed.
Training and Supervision:
Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff in ABA techniques and best practices.
Provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure the fidelity of treatment implementation.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on client progress and treatment strategies.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes.
Prepare and present regular reports on client outcomes and treatment efficacy.
Professional Development:
Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of behavior analysis.
Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain BCBA certification and enhance professional skills.
This role may involve working in various settings, including clients' homes, schools, or clinical environments. However, it is largely a center based position.
Some travel may be required to meet with clients or attend training sessions.
Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Or be within 2-months of Certification
Licensure as an LBA in the state of Arizona, (or on track to obtain licensure after certification)
Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disorders, particularly ASD, is preferred.
1-4 years experience preferred but will look at new grads.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on the position's needs.
