About the Role

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Therapist to join our team. The BCBA Therapist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and a passion for improving the lives of those they serve.


Key Responsibilities:


Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify behavior issues and their underlying causes.

  • Utilize assessment tools and techniques to evaluate clients’ strengths, needs, and areas for improvement.

Treatment Planning:

  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and client goals.

  • Set measurable and achievable objectives to guide treatment and track progress.

Implementation and Monitoring:

  • Oversee the implementation of behavior intervention plans by providing guidance and support to direct care staff and parents.

  • Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to intervention strategies as needed.

Training and Supervision:

  • Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff in ABA techniques and best practices.

  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure the fidelity of treatment implementation.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on client progress and treatment strategies.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on client outcomes and treatment efficacy.

Professional Development:

  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of behavior analysis.

  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain BCBA certification and enhance professional skills.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.

  • BCBA Certification and LBA License

  • 1-4 years experience is preferred but will consider at new grads!
