Job Summary:


The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide supervision to behavior technicians. The BCBA will work closely with clients, their families, and other professionals to achieve meaningful and sustainable improvements in behavior.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and skill assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, client needs, and evidence-based practices.

  • Implement and monitor treatment plans to ensure effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.

  • Provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians and other staff members.

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.

  • Collect and analyze data to measure progress and make data-driven decisions.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports.

  • Stay current with developments in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and participate in continuing education opportunities.

  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • Must also obtain TN licensure and status as an approved DDA Behavior Services Provider before the hire date.    

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disorders.

  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, methodologies, and ethical standards.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.

  • Valid Driver License

  • Valid automobile insurance (this must be maintained throughout employment.)
