About the Role

BCBA Responsibilities:


  • Assessment and treatment plan development 

  • Clinical Programming (challenging behavior management, skill acquisition, and data collection strategies) 

  • On-going evaluation of caregiver/client progress 

  • Report writing 

  • Conduct regular team meetings with the Therapist(s) and caregiver(s) 

  • Provide direct intervention services to clients, as needed 

  • Provide training and on-going support to caregivers and staff 

  • Must be able to drive to clients up to 30 miles away

Requirements

  • MA/MS in Psychology, Education, Special Education or any other related area of study from an accredited institution

  • BCBA Certification completed

  • 3 + years of experience with individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities and mental health disorders

  • Experience with severely challenging behaviors and the design and implementation of related assessment and intervention strategies

  • Excellent management and clinical skills

  • Mastery of ABA principles, theory, methods, and evidence-based practices

  • Knowledge of effective practice, clinical decision-making, outcomes-based intervention, and areas of practice specific to developmental disorders

  • Experience working in collaboration with Regional Centers, School Districts, and other agencies is extremely valued

  • Bilingual skills valued and are highly encouraged to apply

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation

  • Proper background check and TB clearance
