Clinical Associate BCBA Track Full-Time Position Overview
The Clinical Associate is a vital member of our team, providing high-quality support to clients and their families. This role focuses on implementing therapy plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and fostering strong relationships with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. The Clinical Associate plays a key role in delivering exceptional care and contributing to the overall success of our therapy programs.
Essential Functions
Client Care:
Deliver therapy sessions as outlined in treatment plans, ensuring consistency and adherence to evidence-based practices.
Foster positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and milestones in an accurate and timely manner.
Schedule Management and Center Operations:
Assist in creating and maintaining therapy schedules to ensure seamless service delivery.
Stay late as needed to close the center and support end-of-day tasks, ensuring all areas are prepared for the next day.
Provide additional assistance to other Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure all sessions run smoothly and efficiently.
Program Development and Support:
Design, implement, and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programs under BCBA supervision.
Conduct assessments, analyze data, and create progress reports with BCBA guidance.
Create and update data sheets, program materials, and acquisition sheets to support learner objectives.
Facilitate team meetings and provide feedback and training to staff and caregivers to ensure program consistency.
Oversee implementation of behavior-analytic programs and support generalization of skills across environments.
Communication:
Collaborate with supervisors, including BCBA’s (Board Certified Behavior Analysts), clinical supervisors, and other team members to optimize client outcomes.
Maintain consistent communication with families, providing updates on progress and addressing questions or concerns.
Administer monthly client satisfaction surveys and incorporate feedback to improve service delivery.
Documentation:
Submit all session notes, progress reports, and required documentation within 24 hours of each session.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Work with the claims specialist to resolve billing or documentation discrepancies.
Professional Development:
Participation in paid supervision hours within non-billable time to support clinical growth and licensure preparation.
Attend all required training sessions and team meetings.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Adhere to ethical standards and maintain all certifications required for the position.
Performance Expectations:
Achieve 90% billable hour utilization each month.
Maintain at least 90% positive feedback in monthly client satisfaction surveys.
Ensure documentation compliance with a 24-hour submission deadline.
Exhibit punctuality and professionalism in all client and team interactions.
Contribute meaningfully to team meetings and initiatives.

Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related discipline (if pursuing BCBA certification).
Must be enrolled in a BCBA certification program.
Certifications: Current RBT certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Skills and Experience
Required:
Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and team members.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
Preferred:
Experience conducting assessments (e.g., functional behavior assessments, preference assessments).
Familiarity with client management software and electronic data collection tools.
Additional Requirements:
Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
Flexibility to work in various settings, including client homes, schools, and community environments.
Physical ability to engage in ABA-based therapy and assist clients with mobility needs.
